Privacy Policy.

The short version

ve. does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your media stays on your device, and your projects sync only through your own iCloud account.

Your media

Videos, photos and sounds you add are copied into ve.'s storage on your device so you can edit them. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Deleting a project deletes the media imported into it; deleting the app deletes everything it stored on your device.

Your projects and iCloud

Your edits (the timeline, titles, settings and a small thumbnail) are saved in your private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit, so they can appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data belongs to your iCloud account and is not accessible to us. You can remove it in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

Permissions

Photos and Files. When you add media, you choose items in Apple's photo picker or the Files app, and ve. only receives the items you pick. When you save an export, ve. asks to add to your library; it does not read your library.

Microphone. Used only while you record a voiceover. Recordings are saved into the project on your device.

Diagnostics

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide anonymous crash reports and usage statistics under Apple's own privacy policy. ve. adds nothing of its own.

Children

ve. collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
